Michael  Ray Tillman, PT, DPT, Cert.MDT, CSCS, CrossFit Level 1

One of the practice owners, Michael Ray Tillman, DPT was raised in San Antonio, Texas where his family roots have been established for approximately 80 years.  He graduated from The University of Texas in 1996 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology.  He received his Masters in Physical Therapy from Hardin-Simmons University in 1999 then his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2009. He is certified in the McKenzie method for  both spine and extremities.   Michael is married to Keisha has 2 children and enjoys tennis and movies.


 Valerie Mutter, PT, MSPT

Valerie Mutter received her undergraduate degree with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Virginia Tech in 1993. She began her career assisting others through the management of Alzheimer’s and elderly care centers. After moving to Austin in 1998, she attended Texas State University and graduated with a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy.  Valerie brings a broad range of experience to the Tillman practice and has working  with patients who have both orthopedic, as well as, neurological conditions.   She is also a certified “Big Therapy” clinician which focuses on therapy for Parkinson’s Disease, and other neurological conditions.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, running, hiking, and boating.


Timothy Man, PT, DPT

Timothy Man grew up and has been in Austin for more than 20 years, receiving his undergraduate with a Bachelors of Science in Biology at the University of Texas at Austin in 2009. He would later attend and graduate from Hardin-Simmons University for his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2013. He enjoys reading, movies, traveling and outdoor activities.


Karen Hoffman, OTR/L, CHT

Karen Hoffman graduated from Texas Woman’s University in August, 1992. This was an additional career to her career as mother & homemaker of 5 children. She has worked with various populations of patients including head injury & stroke, but found her niche in hand therapy in 2000. She received her national certification in 2005 & has treated patients from infants to the seniors. This work has become her passion to assist those persons to become as functional as possible after an illness or injury. While working as a hand therapist for Orthopedic Institute, Oklahoma City, OK, Karen also rehabilitated from 5 surgeries on each of her hands due to osteoarthritis. This has given her an experience that cannot be obtained through reading books. Therapy is a difficult journey! Karen lives with her daughter & granddaughter. They recently moved back to Texas to be closer to extended family. She enjoys music, reading, gardening & being with her other grandchildren as often as possible.
