Michael was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from The University of Texas at Austin (1996), and a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Harding-Simmons University (1999) in Abilene, Texas.
During college Michael took every opportunity to gain a wide variety of experiences to help build his approach as a physical therapist. His experience includes personal training, Head Coach 5th/6th grade girls Brentwood Christian School, Head Coach/Manager 18 & over men in the National Adult Baseball Association, Mentor at Brooke Elementary, Counselor at Parkland Burn Camp for kids, Neighborhood Longhorns, Longhorns for Christ and Student Involvement Committee.
As a physical therapist, Michael continues to enhance his clinic skills through continuing education. Courses taken include: The McKenzie Method Parts A-D, A Back Stabilization Course, The 19th Annual Conference on Innovations in Sports Medicine, and Ethics. Michael is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
Michael is a member of The American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), The National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and The McKenzie Institute, USA.
His personal interests include Church, tennis, golf, and all other sports.
